Dr. Desha Bedford, MD
TheWISEorg, Inc. – Resident Physician

Lead Physician at The Baltimore City Detention Center
Staff Physician at The Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Facility

Desha Bedford, MD was born in Shreveport, LA and is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She obtained her medical school degree from Howard University Medical School and completed a combined internal medicine and pediatric internship and residency at Atlantic Health Systems’ Morristown Memorial Medical Center located in Morristown, NJ.   Due to her combined residency program, she has an in-depth knowledge of both adults and children that allows her to care for complex medical patients with chronic medical conditions from birth to death.

She has been practicing in the state of Maryland since 2004, taking care of both adults and children. She has worked at Carroll Hospital Center, Montgomery General Hospital Center and Howard County General Hospital serving as both an internal medicine and pediatric hospitalist physician.  She currently functions as both the lead physician at Baltimore City Detention Center, a youth detention center located in Baltimore, Maryland, which is part of the state of Maryland’s Correction Complex (CCBC), and as a staff physician at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Facility.  She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She is co-owner of S(AVED), LLC, a healthcare company providing CPR, ACLS, BLS, PALS and first aid training to both the community and healthcare professionals. Dr. Bedford is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, The American College of Physicians, MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She lives in Columbia, MD and is raising her two sons and a dog.  She enjoys spending time with her sons, reading, biking and traveling.

The World Health Organization states that, “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing not just merely the absence of disease of infirmity.” It is Dr. Bedford’s belief that mental health and physical health go hand in hand. It is her belief that one’s mental health has a direct impact on one’s physical wellbeing. Erasing this disconnect will only serve to improve both physical and mental health outcomes of the patients who we serve.  Everyone deserves to live their best life.

Mr. Milledge Mosby, Minister/Spiritual Coach
TheWISEorg, Inc. – Facilitator

Unity Center of Light, Inc.
Prince George’s County (Bowie, MD)

Minister Mosby serves as a spiritual teacher. He began studying at Unity Village in Missouri toward becoming a licensed Unity teacher. Milledge was groomed by Reverend Frank to eventually become her assistant minister. He stayed in that position until 1991, when he pioneered the new ministry, Unity Center of Light in Bowie, Maryland, in response to a growing demand for a Unity church in that area.  He completed his studies and was licensed as a Unity teacher in 1991. He immediately applied for and was accepted into the Ministers’ Field Licensing Program, a four-year process toward being ordained by the Association of Unity Churches. He was ordained as a minister in 1997. Milledge has been in Unity for over 40 years, serving as an ordained minster for 20 of those years.

Ms. Daphne A. Ryans, Vision Coach
TheWISEorg, Inc. – Facilitator

D. Ryans Vision Coaching, Inc

Born and raised in Annapolis, MD, Daphne Ryans remains a resident of Anne Arundel County. She has a career in Consumer Finance that spans 30 years, which has afforded her extensive experience in leadership, project management, and program development. Believing that God called her to minister to women (young and seasoned), she enrolled at Liberty University in 2010 and graduated Summa Cum Laude, in 2014, with her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Christian Counseling.

Knowing for herself the power of God to heal from the inside out, Daphne’s desire is to assist women in uncovering and achieving the Vision that God has instilled and live the abundant life that He has ordained. To do so, in August 2015, Daphne launched D.Ryans Vision Coaching. For as long as she can remember, she has always been someone that dreamed big.  The more grandiose the Vision, the more passionate she becomes.  “To have Vision is energizing; to put details and effort in place to make it your reality is exhilarating”.

Through the D.Ryans Vision Coaching quarterly Visionary Forums and annual 2-day Encounters, her role as a Vision Coach, Strategist, and Empowerment Speaker, has provided a platform to assist in bringing others’ visions to life. Simultaneously it has allowed Daphne the opportunity to combine two of her greatest passions: helping to elevate the lives or organizations of others and planning events/workshops that help to do the same. Ultimately, Daphne plans to incorporate one additional passion, travel.  Ideally, visioning workshops will be conducted at destinations throughout the world. Thus providing not only the tools for development but also an overall experience that helps to solidify its teachings.
